ABOUT CROWD THE AIRWAVES

“Their new 2 song EP “Nihilist” … is a brilliant, alternative/garage rock brand of perfection that fans have come to love, and expect from the band. Never ever holding anything back sonically, or lyrically, each song brings something special to the table.”

Krystal McRae - Scenes from the Underground

“The band is a rollercoaster without even trying to be one ... Their seemingly effortless ability to move their sound is hard to find in a lot of rock bands, but they do it without coming up for air.”

Ryan Ansel - Divide and Conquer: Indie Music Album Reviews

"There is no possible way to not fall in love with this group of strong, loud, and beautifully foul-mouthed women."

Karen Silva - Pancakes and Whiskey

Rock And Roll and Whiskey Sours have some stuff in common: they’re both classic, time-tested, and well-loved formulae that are constantly being reinvented with fresh references.

The music of Crowd the Airwaves is that, too.

Hailing from the outer boroughs of New York City, the power trio Crowd the Airwaves have been performing since 2013, bringing their fierce, in-your-face mix of garage rock, punk, and alternative pop to audiences around the tri-state area. Held down by powerful vocals, shimmering yet vicious guitars, and slamming percussion, the band has garnered rave reviews for their live performances and studio recordings. Not content with making the same-old music, Crowd the Airwaves’ sound is constantly evolving, using the tools of their classical music training and their love of artists such as the Foo Fighters, Anberlin, and Lady Gaga. Whether it’s the snarling punk of “Natural Born Therapist,” the moody grunge blues of “Roots,” the driving guitar of “Scars,” or the sweet vocal harmonizing of “Rose Tinted Pillars,” listeners will find something to please. One thing is clear: in every possible way, they’re guaranteed to melt your face off!

Crowd the Airwaves balances pop sensibility with uninhibited bite, just like a good drink: strong and sweet up front, and feeling it later.
